Biography
Stacy from Blackwood Resort loves Oliver and wants to be a good wife, but her driven approach to work makes it hard to slow down. She's anxious about managing her commitments and brings her laptop on their honeymoon rather than taking a complete break. Her busy schedule fills with business calls, sometimes late into the evening, just when Oliver hopes to spend time together. As Samantha's daughter, Stacy also wants her mother to have a much-needed holiday. These wishes are not incompatible, but she struggles to give them equal attention. Her workaholic habits leave her far less present than she intends to be.
Stacy's Role in the Story
Stacy keeps slipping from vacation mode to work mode at Blackwood Resort. She means well, but her calls pull her away while Oliver and Samantha face one problem after another. A sharp turn catches her off guard during the airport ride. At check-in, she accepts the shared room without Oliver's frustration and later heads to a private fitness session. Her focus stays on the task at hand, leaving her unaware of the misunderstanding nearby. That gap between her intentions and what she notices drives much of the comedy.
